I cracked my tooth while biting down on a popcorn kernel – such a small thing that caused such big problems! He recommended a root canal followed by a crown to seal the crack and protect the tooth. Monica explained the treatment plan and reminded me to be more careful with hard foods. The root canal procedure took about 90 minutes. Dr Jason was very skilled in working around the crack, carefully cleaning all infected tissue. The numbing was effective and I felt no pain during the procedure. The temporary crown sealed the crack completely and felt comfortable. I had minimal discomfort afterward. Tori made sure my bite was correct before I left. The permanent crown was placed two weeks later and it’s perfect. The crack is completely sealed and the pain is gone. I now avoid unpopped kernels!
